CND Radar 1.03

The field of Cyber Security defines a vulnerability as a weakness within a computer system that could potentially be exploited by a hacker to gain unauthorized access. The CND Cyber Security Situational Awareness Radar is a highly regarded tool in the industry, attracting approximately 24,000 hits per hour. This application offers a streamlined interface that reports on newly identified vulnerabilities discovered across the Internet by our international team of researchers.

Each reported vulnerability undergoes an assessment to determine its severity. Relevant vulnerabilities are subsequently published on both the CND Cyber Security Situational Awareness Radar and the CND Radar iOS Application. Users receive notifications when updates are made to important entries.

Vulnerabilities are displayed with a Threat Indicator and a Severity Level. Every 24 hours, the severity level of existing vulnerabilities diminishes by one step. After the first day, the Threat Indicator shifts to a down arrow, signifying decreasing urgency. If a vulnerability does not escalate or re-emerge, it is removed after a maximum of three days unless it becomes actively exploited or the zero-day patch is applied. This tracking method enables users to identify new vulnerabilities for specific products, especially as such issues often surface in clusters over short time spans.
